Making a Difference
I am writing to express my gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the Heart Warrior Achievement Scholarship. I am very honored and grateful for your generosity and the impact it will have towards my education. You have allowed me to attend my dream school, the University of Iowa, which I did not think was financially possible. Thanks to your support, I will be able to achieve my goals of becoming a nurse and using my abilities to help others. While having a CHD, I spent lots of time in the hospital. This is where my inspiration grew to become a nurse as I knew I wanted to help kids like me. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

Dear Ms. Polidori-Hersant and Heart Warrior Scholarship Board:
Thank you for awarding me the Heart Warrior Scholarship. Next week I will be starting my studies at Springfield College, and I am excited to have the opportunity to further my education. I am very grateful for your support which is helping me to realize my dream of becoming a physical therapist with a focus in cardiac rehabilitation. I appreciate your generosity towards student such as myself and wish you all the best in the future.
